I'm Larissa!

I am a wife (married 13 years to the man that took me on my first date) and mom of two (Quinnley is my sweet, tender artist, and Camden is my funny, charismatic wild man).

I have been an educator (middle and high school science for a decade as well as professional learning and development for adults) and a photographer for even longer (obsessed with helping others embrace their authenticity and share it with the world.)

A few of my favorite things...

Drink

You can usually find me sipping on a protein coffee with my Stanley, my emotional support water bottle, full of ice water within reach. When I am looking for something more of the adult beverage kind, I am a classic margarita kind of girl!

Movie

Now don't get me wrong, I love a romantic comedy just as much as the next girl, but as a science nerd, I have always and will always love Jurassic Park. The music, the effects, the one liners...And then they go and put Chris Pratt in the movie... perfection!

Music

True to my roots as a farmer's daughter, I am pretty much always listening to country music. (And by that I mean singing loudly in my car.) I am quite partial to anything that was popular in the 90s. Chances are, I will know every word!

Past Time

With what little down time I can find, I am almost always reading a book. I love to curl up on the couch, snuggled in a blanket, and read a novel. Occasionally I will do a fantasy or young adult novel but typically is some spicy love story.

Why I love what I do...

As a mom, wife, business owner, and wearer of about 19,327 other hats, I know it's so important for us women to carve out some time for ourselves. We all too often lose ourselves as we spend so much of our lives taking care of others. So while I often struggle to find balance in my life, I am pretty dang blessed to also help other ladies feel pampered and powerful through these boudoir sessions. Because the truth is, you really deserve to be reminded just how beautiful and fierce you are.

I promise that while it can be a little nerve wracking to slip into some lingerie and have someone point a camera in your face, it really is much more than sexy pictures. It's a purposeful time set aside to honor and celebrate what it means to be a powerful woman. Something magical happens when we push past the nerves and that voice in the back of our heads that says this is a bad idea and bravely embrace the opportunity to shed the layers of clothes, insecurity, labels, and opinions of others to better reveal the skin that we are in. The images that we will create will be tasteful and beautiful but also sexy and powerful. They will be ones that you will want to share with your partner but even more so, they will be images that shed a new light on your incredible curves and a way to honor this stage of life. We will work together to plan out the vibe that you love, find the perfect items to wear to make you feel amazing, and then I can help guide you through the perfect poses to show off your ass... I mean assets. ; )
